No snow for us, but still lovely
Our first day we wandered through the Christmas markets in Wenceslas Square and enjoyed some street performances. The clown blowing humongous bubbles was quite popular.
On day two we walked up to Prague Castle.
The cathedral at Prague Castle was impressive. Its grandeur is lost on three-year-olds, though.
Moira was working on her faces for most of the trip.
The cathedral inside the castle walls was quite breathtaking. We are used to seeing a lot of ancient ruins in Israel, so this seemed new and fancy.

More festive Christmas markets
We called these bread bracelets. Czechs call them "trdelnik," which I have a hard time even writing because I can't handle the missing vowel.
"You had me at sausage."

Our friend Kristen watched the kids at the hotel one evening so Nick and I could walk around together holding hands (instead of a stroller) and catch this amazing sunset.
One of the best parts about the trip--traveling with friends
Here are Jeff and Maryann, our neighbors and co-teachers and friends and family in Jerusalem.
Moira loved seeing her friends each night when we met up for dinner.

Heading home with wonderful memories
