- We moved to Jerusalem in August of 2009 to volunteer as teachers at a Kindergarten through 12th grade school. After teaching one year, we welcomed our little girl, Moira, in September of 2010. I stayed home to take care of her full-time while Nick continued to teach middle school math and religion. In October of 2012 our son Latham was born.
