Over Christmas we went snorkeling in the Denver Aquarium with Nick's family, a gift from one of his dad's patients. So awesome!!

No matter where she goes, Christie is beloved by small children everywhere.

The view from one of our walks into another neighborhood. Apparently, Jordan is right on the other side of the valley. In our seven months here, we have yet to see it because of the dust and haze in the air.

Walking in the neighborhood

We took a trip to the Jerusalem Zoo one Sunday. This chimpanzee reminded me of my students when they are pouting off by themselves during recess, hoping someone will miss them. But the other kids, or primates in this case, are too busy playing with each other to notice.

This is my usual position come Thursday night. Isn't our couch the coolest?

We drove up to the Mount of Olives the other night for dinner at our favorite coffee/sandwich shop and to catch a view of the sunset.

It's hard to tell, but you're seeing our little one at 10 weeks. If you use your imagination, it looks like he's lying on his back doing a kickboxing workout.

Nick snapped a bunch of photos as we drove around the city a couple weeks ago. Have a look
